  2. SYMPTOMS. Pain in the upper right abdomen that may spread to the back. With
  3. the pain there is often mild fever, nausea, vomiting and flatulence.
  4. CAUSES are sometimes from a chemical irritation but most often from the
  5. cystic duct or gallbladder outlet being blocked by a gallstone.
  6. TREATMENT. Antibiotics & bed rest.
  7. .Surgery to remove gallbladder may be required.
