- SYMPTOMS. Pain in the upper right abdomen that may spread to the back. With
- the pain there is often mild fever, nausea, vomiting and flatulence.
- CAUSES are sometimes from a chemical irritation but most often from the
- cystic duct or gallbladder outlet being blocked by a gallstone.
- TREATMENT. Antibiotics & bed rest.
